Observe work groups for at risk behaviors and unsafe conditions. 2. Intervene and advise workers if found committing unsafe acts. 3. Advice workgroup supervisors of identified unsafe acts. 4. Observe work groups for compliance with QMW HSE Safe Work Practices. 5. Minor infringements may be dealt with at supervisory level. 6. Major infringements to be immediately notified to any HSE Advisor. 7. Inspect work areas for unsafe conditions and advise persons responsible for these. 8. Observe condition of facility and equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.), report deficiencies. 9. If facility or equipment appears in dangerous condition, stop work and inform the relevant supervisor and HSE advisor. 10. Observe / assist supervision during the delivery of Toolbox Talks. 11. Attend training and HSE meetings as and when requested. 12. Understand company philosophy and policy regarding Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. 13. Have a sound knowledge of Safe Work Practices. 14. Develop a working relationship with all employees 15. Be prepared to immediately respond in the event of calls for emergency assistance. 16. Assist or initiate medical treatment of sick or injured employees. 17. Actively participate on Emergency Response Teams 18. Inform the HSE Advisor and/or HSE Supervisor immediately of any reportable incident, or notify HSE Manager immediately in the absence of HSE Advisor or HSE Supervisor. 19. Perform incident investigation and produce a timely accurate report 20. Following up corrective actions following accidents and inspections 21. Coordinate Permit to Work issuance and maintain register in absence of PTW Clerk. 22. Perform Atmospheric Monitoring (Gas Detection) 23. Perform Fire Extinguisher Inspections 24. Inventory and Maintenance of Emergency Response Equipment 25. Promote the HSE Programs, HIT, BBSM, Com Card etc. across the facility. 26. Spend a minimum 95% of time in the field monitoring overall compliance of the yard HSE Program and Procedures. 27. Maintain a professional attitude and set an example to others. 28. Attend and assess Foreman in the conduct of HIT Card Process 29. Assist with HSE training as required 30. Other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager or HSE Supervisor X). Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by department manager or the company. ESSENTIAL ? Proficient at Incident Investigation and Audit processes ? Knowledge of Local regulations. ? Maintains a high standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts ? English Language skills, both “written and spoken”, must be at an acceptable level and show continuous improvement. The levels of acceptability and improvement will be determined by the HSE Manager’s best judgment. ? Good presentation skills, ? Be open and honest. ? Supervisory experience (any Field) (preferred) ? 1 to 3 years of experience in HSE (preferred) ? Degree / diploma or equivalent in HSE related subject
